I grew up in San Leandro, CA where I was lucky to discover my love for art history in high school. I never found another subject that was more interesting to study than the history of art and completed my B.A. in Art History from Cal State East Bay. After taking a year off to live in San Francisco, I moved to Pennsylvania to earn my M.A. from Penn State. Following grad school, I ended up in the small town of Grand Junction in western Colorado where I was able to teach a variety of upper- and lower-division art history courses for Colorado Mesa University. In the summer of 2017, my family and I were able to move back to California. Since then I have had the opportunity to teach Art History for Santa Rosa Junior College.
